How To Delete A Google Plus Account
Google has just revealed its social media services, Google+ (read: Google Plus), has a security gap quoted from www.nytimes.com (08/10/2018). As a result, various personal information - names and e-mail addresses - users are reported to have leaked.
Because of this incident, the search engine giant decided to close Google Plus services. However, it is still just being realized in the next 10 months.
Well, for those of you who are curious whether you still have a Google Plus account or want to delete the service, it's good to follow these steps.
↪ 1. The first thing you can do is open Gmail and click the profile picture on the top right of the screen. If you have the words "Google+ Profile", then you have a Google Plus account.
↪ 2. Click on "Google+ Profile" to go to the Google Plus platform page.
↪ 3. Continue by clicking "Settings" on the left side of the column.
↪ 4. Scroll down to find the "Account" menu, and click "Delete Your Google+ Profile".
↪ 5. Google will confirm what features or data will be lost when the Google Plus account is deleted. You can see more detailed information by clicking on the arrows for each category.
↪ 6. Click "Delete" when to complete the process.
Keep in mind, deleting a Google Plus account does not mean deleting all commonly used Google accounts, such as contacts or photos. Only deleted your Google Plus account.
If the process is successful, then you will see a confirmation page and a survey that can be answered or ignored. Good luck.
